Please refer to the Mrs. O'Brien's Notes sent home every Friday for weekly assignments and topics that will be covered during the week.
Hello 2nd Grade Parents-
Here are a few important items you and your student need to know.
Memory will be on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Practice Spelling Tests will be Wednesdays and the final spelling test on Fridays.
Our Specials schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays
Music is 10:45-11:30
Hymnody 1-1:30
Art 2:30-3:15
Library is Friday at 9:15. Library books are due on Friday morning. If library books are not returned by Friday morning your student will not be able to check out a new library book. Last year we had the record for having our books in on time... :)
Remember to check your student's home folder every evening for notes from myself, or the school or if your student has any unfinished work to be completed and returned to school the following school day.
If your student does not have gym shoes please make sure they have them asap. Outside shoes are not allowed in the gym and socks must be worn if gym shoes are not available. It gets slippery.
One last note, please check PowerSchool on a regular basis to see how your student is doing so there are no surprises come report card time. I will do my best to keep the grade book up to date. If you have concerns please contact me.
